Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to investigate the historical and structural comprehension of ancient Greece’s literary institutions, in relation to the European cultural tradition and through direct reading of the original texts.

Syllabus

Contents of the course:
(1) Menander.
(2) Hellenistic romance.
(3) Comprehensive vision of Greek literature in the Hellenistic Age.
