Learning outcomes

Acquaintance of a critic attitude in relation to written documents; acquaintance of the main types of documents (with particular reference to Middle Eve); knoqledge of the connection between history of institutions and history of written documentation.

Syllabus

Science of document: principles, methods and examples. Document: for a diplomatic definition; diplomatic document between public and privat; elements of pontifical documents; history of notare; fake and falsification; Italian documentation between Middle Eve and Modern Age; elements of contempoarary diplomaticy.
