Learning outcomes

Knowledge of the main events of Italian history between 1848 and 1914; ability to use correctly the instruments of historiographical research.

Syllabus

Contents of the course: Introduction to the “long” Italian Nineteenth century. Investigation of the formation of the Unitary State; main steps of political, historical and social Italian history up to the 1st World War.
