Acquaintance of Venetia’s territorial settlement in the Ancient Age and its reconstructing methods (highlight: historical-diachronical investigation of Roman age in relation to precedents, results and heritage in the current world).
Contents of the course: The natural and anthropical environment of the Roman Venetia through literary, epigraphic and archaeological sources; Romanization; Roman streets; centurion countryside and rural settling; topographical and monumental organization of the major urbane centres, especially Verona.
For every information concerning the programme or the final test, students who can’t attend class must see the professor during reception time.
