Learning outcomes

The field of Medieval and humanistic philology embraces all literature between the Vth and the XVIth century. Scholars prefer the Latin school of our literature between 1200 and 1500. In this perspective, the course deepens Latin-language poetry in the XVth century, particularly in relation to authors in the area between the fourteenth-century Verona and Mantua.

Contents of the course: Issues and aspects of the humanistic poetry in Verona and Mantua’s culture in throughout the XVth century.
