Learning outcomes

The course aims at introducing the historical and structural comprehension of ancient Greece’s literary institutions through direct reading of the original texts.

Syllabus

Contents of the course: From Homer to the Vth century: Iliad X; Odyssey VIII; Selection of the Archaic Lyric; Aeschylus, Agamemnon. Profile of Greek literature until the Vth century.
