Learning outcomes

Critical acquisition of journalistic techniques and their application to a multicultural and complex society.

Contents of the course: Journalistic techniques in order to tell cultural difference; intercultural communication through press; critic reading of newspaper that deal with immigration; exercise to learn how to collect and present news connected to a pluralistic and multicultural society. The course is held in connection with the other journalism courses.

Written test concerning the theoretical section and production of a journalistic text as regards multicultural issue. The evaluation considers the participation during class session.
