Learning outcomes
The aim is to develop abilities concerning translation, grammartical, stylistic and historical-literary analysis of the main texts belonging to Latin literature. The course also aims at providing a modern methodology in order to investigate ancient texts.
Syllabus
Contents of the course: Critic-textual issues in Cicero’s Pro Caelio.
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral test, partly carried out directly on the Latin text.
NOTE: The mark-mark-recording of Latin translation must be done before the one concerning section L-FIL-LET/04, which allows to achieve 24 credits in the section. Such written test is preliminary to the above-mentioned test and doesn’t provide credits.
