Learning outcomes

This coure’s aim s to introduce to the knowledge of the Greek and Roman theatrical performances. Plays are read in translation.

Syllabus

Prerequisite: The knowledge both of Latin and ancient Greek is not a required condition. The Faculty provides beginners’ classes of Latin and ancient Greek since the first year.

Content:
Theatre and the body: Euripides’ Alcestis and Plautus’ Casina.
