Learning outcomes

The course of Medieval Architecture intends to analyze the Medieval buildings in Ravenna and its hinterland, from the Early Christian period to the end of Medieval era.

Syllabus

Prerequisites: To enter the teaching of the History of the Medieval Architecture the student must have taken the exam of History of Medieval Art. It’s also strongly recommended to have attended the course of History of Architecture.

Course contents: During the lessons the main architectures of the Medieval time in Ravenna will be taken in exam with no disregard to the sculptures connected to them. Visits to the Architectures will be part of the course.
