Learning outcomes
Addressed to students from the Linguistics MA programme, the course aims at providing a basic outline of the problems and methods of the discipline, explaining the various textual problems related to the production and circulation of texts.
Specific attention will be paid to the edition of texts which were either not accomplished by their authors or were not intended for publication. Thus, the course will deal with problems arising from the recovery or reconstruction of reliable formal aspects and the linguistic presentation of texts to modern readers.
