The main aim of this course is to give a specific knowledge of the history of the Italian language between the16th and 18th century, particularly examining the linguistic problems of the Epistolography.
The course is divided into two parts:
1) Short profile of the History of the Italian language between the 16th and the 17th , with particular attention to the Epistolography;
2).History of the Italian Epistolography in 18th century: Letter-Writing Instruction Manuals in Italy.
