Previous studies: basical knowledge of Roman history and Greek and Latin language.

Subject of the course: Rome and Mithridates

Texts to be read: 1) Appianus, Mithridateios (chapters 1-63 must be studied in Greek, a translation is sufficient for the rest)
2) the passages that will be studied during the course

Didactic method: normal lessons or seminars will be organized; the students will be provided with the passages (also in translation) which will be discussed. Students who are unable to attend the lessons will find them in mp3 format, texts, and images on the e-learning platform of the University.
