Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to provide the students with the method and the instruments for understanding theatre as an aesthetic phenomenon and for the analysis of the art of performing with respect to the historical evolution of theatre and to its cultural context.

Syllabus

Contents:
The theater production will be examined in its historical path, from the nineteenth-century origins to the full development in the theater of the twentieth century
