Skill in orientation through the main problems of the archaeological research in the territory providing the theoretical basic elements on methodology, to be deepened by practicing on the ground and in laboratory.
The first part of the course shall be dedicated to theoretical issues: whereby the study of history and archaeology of the territory shall be combined with the analysis provided by other disciplines, such as geomorphology, remote sensing, historical cartography etc.). The second part of the course shall provide practical classes, which will include exemplary case studies on applied methodology.
Those who could not attend the classes are invited to agree with the professor alternative programmes. In any case alternative programmes shall include one more work to study among those indicated above.
