Learning outcomes

The course is conceived as an introduction to logic and philosophy of science, with the presentation of the most important philosophical problems connected to the development of the scientific method.

Philosophy of science
(a) The born of mechanics. (b) Positivism, conventionalism, logic empiricism, fallibilism, operationism, theory of scientific revolutions (c) Induction, deduction, abduction (d) Science, philosophy and metaphysics
