Learning outcomes

Teaching comparative literature aims at transmitting to the students crucial conceptual intruments and modes of thoughts concerning some important literary themes current in the Western World. By the end of the course the student will master notions and critical methodologies used by the professor in class.

Syllabus

The course is centered on literary examples of utopia, dystopia, and alternate history. The second part will be taught in English by an American colleague coming with the Cooperint agreement, professor John Rieder.

Assessment methods and criteria

Multiple-choice test and/or essay questions during the course and final oral exam during the regular exam periods.
