Learning outcomes

Acquisition of basic knowledge of the discipline and the basic vocabulary in the framework of a knowledge of the most important sources.

Syllabus

Course's object will be history of western legal tradition, from the specific point of view of history of the legal condition of jews.
We will study especially the case of the baptism of the child Edgardo Mortara, against his parents' will.
