Assessment methods and criteria

Teaching and exam methods

Within the Courses will take place visits to museums and exhibitions - in order to promote direct knowledge of the works -, seminars, book presentations, meetings with the protagonists of contemporary culture: all modalities that meet great favor from the students.
From the iconographic point of view, the exam test focuses on the artists treated, the works seen in class and present in the texts. Students are warned that recent contemporary art history has dealt with issues that are sometimes strong, direct, scabrous: all this falls within the freedom of expression and the rights of artistic research for which every responsibility is declined.
The exam consists of a written test. The main evaluation parameters are: 1) actual interest and level of preparation; 2) mastery of the subject of study; 3) argumentative ability; 4) expressive quality.
The correction of the documents normally takes about 7 days and in the case in which the number of examiners is very high it can vary.
Students are reminded that, for texts on the market with copyright, it is forbidden to reproduce, even partially, by any means, including a photocopy, that has not been authorized. Please also note that the purchase of the texts is free and can be replaced by the library loan.
The regulation foresees the obsolescence of the programs: for this reason the student who has not taken the test within the allowed appeals (i.e. the winter session following the course year) is required to take the last year's program to the exam , except for non-course and part-time students.

Method of receipt

Two types of reception are offered: frontal and telematic. At the frontal reception it is advised to book via e-mail, so that the student receives for his or her convenience an appointment with precise day and time; in addition to this, the electronic receipt is completed for all the e-mails to which it is believed a reply is due, if the student has sent the e-mail to the right address: given that in Univr there is a namesake, please take note of it : pasini.roberto9@gmail.com

Thesis

He can propose a thesis topic, without any constraint, who previously claimed at least one exam that falls within the SSD; however, to avoid overlapping with other proposals, the student is advised to submit to the teacher three topics, among which will be agreed the one on which the thesis will be carried out.
