Edoardo Bianchi is Temporary Lecturer in Ancient Greek History. His main areas of interest are as follows: the history of the Mediterranean area in the Archaic Age; the relations between Greeks, Etruscans and the Romans (VI-IV centuries BCE); the relations between Greeks and Romans in modern historiography; the Julio-Claudian era.

History of the Mediterranean area in the Archaic age
My research focuses on: the history of the Mediterranean basin in the Archaic period; the political and cultural relations between the Greeks, the Romans and the Etruscans (VI-IV centuries BCE); modern historiographical perspectives on Archaic Greece and Rome; political and dynastic struggles under the Julio-Claudians.
