Investigation of the issues pertaining the advanced part of the course, in particular as far as it concerns the exchange between Ponentin and Italian art throughout the Renaissance.
Contents of the course: Ponentin and Italian art between the Fifteenth and the Sixteenth century: stories of a mutual relationship. The course is dedicated to the major artistic relationships between the North and the South of Europe during the Renaissance, it’ll space through the impact of Fleming art on the Italian one in the Fifteenth century, through the observation of the economic-political-cultural context of the time.
NOTE For the 4years-degree students at the faculty of Arts and Humanities. The students must attend both (i) and (p) courses. The professor provides a list of readings for those who wish to iterate the preliminary section.
