Learning outcomes

knowledge of the fundamental traits and the relative historiographical matters of the cultural history of the Italian Renaissance.

Syllabus

Contents of the course: overview of Renaissance Europe. A history of facts made up also and above all of beliefs, values, behaviours, material life conditions, mental structures.

Assessment methods and criteria

Evaluation modality:
a)for students attending the course: a 10 pages research on one of the themes of the course, chosen in agreement with the teacher and discussed orally.
b)for students not attending the course: written questionnaire on the textbooks, in addition to an oral discussion about the results.
