In-depth study of the history of the interactions between production and collection-building of art works
Prerequisites: It is necessary to have taken the introductory modules of Museology, Medieval Art History, and Modern Art History.
Contents of the Course: Analysis of the various aspects of XVI-century Venetian pictorial production including collecting, modern and ancient art market, historiography, and cultural environments.

Teaching Methods: In-class lectures with slides and videos and field trips to museums and collections.
