Giuseppe Maltese è un archeologo pre-protostorico e studente di dottorato presso l’Università degli Studi di Verona. I suoi principali interessi di ricerca sono le tecniche costruttive durante l’età del Bronzo e del Ferro. Il suo focus è sull’Italia settentrionale, in particolare le diverse tipologie di edilizia residenziale in vari contesti. È inoltre interessato all’utilizzo delle nuove tecnologie in campo archeologico, come GIS, fotogrammetrie e ricostruzioni 3D.

Il suo progetto di ricerca si incentra, attraverso il supporto della Virtual Archaeology, sullo studio delle tecniche costruttive nel Veneto durante la protostoria, periodo caratterizzato da significativi cambiamenti che influenzarono profondamente le scelte umane.

Giuseppe Maltese is a Pre-Protohistoric archaeologist and PhD student in Archaeology at the University of Verona. His main research interests are building techniques during the Bronze and Iron Ages. His main focus of analysis is northern Italy, and in particular the different types of residential construction in different contexts. He is also interested in the use of new technologies in archeology, such as GIS, photogrammetry, and 3D reconstruction.

His research project focuses, through the support of Virtual Archaeology, on the study of building techniques in the Veneto region during protohistory, a period characterized by significant changes that profoundly influenced human choices.
