Learning outcomes

The course investigates one of the main moments of Italian and European literature through the analysis of the most important Italain and German Romances of the XXth century.

Syllabus

Contents of the course: The writing of crisis: a possibile path of European fiction in the early Nineteenth hundred.

Assessment methods and criteria

Interview, or written composition to be decided on the base of the number of enrolled students. A deep knowledge of the text-books, their critical analysis and a good acquaintance of Italian and European litarture between the XIXth and the XXth century. Non-attending students must agree an integrative bibliography with the professor during reception time (not by e-mail or by phone, except for “desperate” cases).
