Learning outcomes

To provide knowledge of the development of the investigation of geographical region. To provide acquaintance of issues concerning Africa’s underdevelopment through the analysis of different regions.

Syllabus

Contents of the course: From natural region to sustainable systems. Renewable and un-renewable resources. Region development. Causes of underdevelopment. Underdeveloped region. Analysis of regional cases.

Assessment methods and criteria

Oral test.
A meeting with the professor is suggested to non-attending students.
