Lesson timetable

Learning outcomes

a) Knowledge of the fundamentals of modern Italian and European history, from the end of 1400 to half 1800;
b) awareness of the complexity of the contemporary European cultural rooths.

Syllabus

Contents of the course: Introduction to the issues of modern history through the discussion of characterizing elements ( political, economic, religious, social and cultural) that concern Italian and European life in the modern Age.

Assessment methods and criteria

Written test concerning the general part of the course ( modern history hand-book); interview concerning the historical section (part2).
