Learning outcomes

knowledge of the crucial phases of the Italian history of the 20th century, compared with the European and American history of the same period

Syllabus

Contents of the course:
the Great War and the origins of totalitarianisms;
the birth of the fascist regime;
resistance and civil war;
the birth of the Republic;
the central-left wing party, destabilization, protest movements, terrorism;
the crisis of the First Republic.

Assessment methods and criteria

written exam for I level students;
written and oral exam for students of the old university system;
oral exam for Erasmus students.
