Lesson timetable

Learning outcomes

The course aims at gaining expertise and developing analytical skills in English linguistics, with special attention to language variation and discourse analysis, bearing in mind the main phases of the history of the English. The focus will mainly be on ESP, with special reference to the language of politics and of advertising. Moreover, the students will be introduced to Corpus Linguistics and its different applications.
