Learning outcomes

Careful Study of archaeological problems and concerning the art of Greek and Roman people.

Syllabus

Previous studies: it is advisable for students to know Greek and Roman Art.

Subject of the course: Iconography of Roman Silverware and Minor Arts.Some
lessons will be valuable for the study of materials and use the current recovered in excavations of the Roman period in northern Italy.During the course can also be organized by the teacher during visits to museums and collections in Italy or abroad.
For a better understanding of the techniques of archaeological excavation is proposed participation in an excavation under the direction of the teacher during the summer break
