The course aims to give a theoretical basis on methodological aspects and good practices in archaeological field (excavation, survey and laboratorial activities); then it intends to delineate the contribution of Archeology to the preservation and promotion of Cultural Heritage.
Module:
The course aims to illustrate, from an historical perspective, the principal methods and practices of Archaeological science. During lectures will be explained the contributions of scientific disciplines (as physics, botany, mathematics, computer science, architecture, etc. ) to archeology, and the valorisation of Cultural Heritage.
