Learning outcomes

City and society in the thirteenth century: the example of Verona

The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge of the medieval city, in terms of urban development and social dynamics.

Syllabus

The first part of the lectures will be dedicated to the theme of the Italian medieval town in general; in the second part will be deepened the case of study of Verona. During the lessons will be examined documents (in Italian translation).
