Curriculum

Sofia Piacentin (Ph.D. 2017, King’s College London) è ricercatrice di Storia romana presso il Dipartimento di Culture e Civiltà dell'Università degli Studi di Verona. Si occupa di storia romana, in particolare di storia economica e sociale, con una attenzione allo studio della proprietà privata nella Roma repubblicana e delle proprietà imperiali nelle province nord-occidentali e in Italia durante l’età imperiale. Nel 2022 ha vinto il bando ‘Rita Levi Montalcini’ per il rientro dei cervelli in Italia con un progetto dedicato allo studio della violenza domestica nel mondo romano.
