Cultures and languages in contact in the Ancient Near East

The people involved study the historical and geographical patterns of cultural and linguistic contact in the Ancient Near East, with particular attention to the area of pre-classical Anatolia (XVIII-IV centuries BCE). The main project carried out by the group is PALaC, has received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement n° 757299).
