Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to get over the stereotype that separates scientific, historical and artistic knowledge and also to find specific fields in which this relation has important consequences on European culture.
Dialogue between science of nature and science of history: the Temple of Serapide in Pozzuoli (1750-1830). The course investigates naturalistic and historical-antiquarian disciplines between Enlightenment and Romanticisme, in relation to one of the most important archeological sites in Naples.
