Lesson timetable

Learning outcomes

Investigation of history of architecture in a frame of time that considers the XVth and XVIth century. Acquaintance of specific competences useful in order to read an architectural handmade.

Syllabus

Contents of the course: Aspects of the architecture in the Italian Renaissance with particular attention to the interpretation of Classicism (Brunneleschi, Alberti, Bramante), especially concerning the peculiar architectural language in Veneto (Codussi, Sansovino, Palladio and others).

Assessment methods and criteria

Written test, two-hour long and concerning three of the subjects of the programme
