Learning outcomes

To give a socio-semiotic look to multiculturalism. To offer a general view of Italian publishing, from the beginning to nowadays. To analyze Mass Communication, with particular regards to newspaper, in order to understand how public opinion can be made correctly and how a multicultural society can build a common vision.

Syllabus

Contents of the course : Evolution of publishing, up to digital era and new media. Multimedia publishing. Information as a topic key in present society. International journalism. Radio language techniques. Guidelines of press and communication history. Arabian media and society in the new Millennium.
