Learning outcomes

the course aims to provide basic knowledge of geography of populations leading to the comprehension of the dynamics and structure of population. The course will provide as well a historical overview of the evolution of the different worldly demographic systems, along with a comparison of the relationship among economy, society and social organization both in Advanced and in developing countries.

Syllabus

Contents of the course: elements of geography of population; the worldly increasing of population; population- economy- society.
