Classes are held in front, trying to identify issues and problems of political science that form the basis of understanding of the political processes of the Western democracies. The methods of teaching will be developed by specific seminars. The intention is to urge group discussions involving students.
The course has the main purpose of encouraging the acquisition of analytical tools and concepts fundamental to the understanding and interpretation of politics, its relevance and its dynamics. The course also aims to develop essential knowledge concerning the characteristics and functioning of the main democratic political systems and political problems which face the European Union and international institutions .
