Learning outcomes

to give instruments to analyse the political, cultural and social transformations of European society from 1900 till 1920.

Syllabus

The topics will be 1) the origin of the figure of modern intellectual, 2) relantionship between intellectuals and war, political, cultural, economic and social effects of IWW, 3) the crisis of Eueopean liberalism after the end of the war.
