Subject of the course: Etruscan culture and art
Texts to be read:
1) Strabo, Geography, books V-VI (an edition with commentary);
2) M.Pallottino, Etruscologia, Milano, Hoepli 1977, 1984; or another reprint of this book;
3) the passages of ancient authors or inscriptions that will be studied during the course
Didactic method: normal lessons will be held, and many images will be described; students will be provided with the passages (also in translation) which will be discussed
