Titolo: "Textual Studies and Editorial Technique" (IN ENGLISH)
The course will address issues of textual reconstruction and editing strategies (transcribing and collating manuscripts, comparing variants, editing for modern readers). With a focus on methodological implications, the course will provide students with a hands-on approach to early Italian texts and an opportunity to reflect upon the relationship between the recovery of authorial intention, in its linguistic variety, and the editing of texts for the modern reader.
