Learning outcomes

To explain the fundamentals in relation to the current legislation concerning conservation and enhancement of the value of historical-artistic-monumantal, archeological and etno-anthropological heritage. In order to stimulate the student to connect practical situations with normative aspects, the course will discuss some of the issues pertaining the circulation of cultural heritages, conservation, protection and its organisms.

Meaning and development of basic concepts like heritage, environment, conservation, bond, consume, enhancement, central and periferical conservating organisms, historical processes, development of the Italian legislation from 1902 to the Code of Cultural heritages (D.L.vo n.42 22/1/2004): knowledge and comment of the main articles.

Oral test.
The professor reserves the right to decide an eventual written test.
Evaluation criteria: critical knowledge of the subjects concerning the course, ability to expose and analyse the concepts, know how to connect theoretical issues, acquaintance of the Code of Cultural heritages, pertaining to the discussed articles.
