Curriculum

I am Assistant Professor in Slavic Studies at the Department of Humanities of the University of Trento. My main areas of research are (a) Russian morpho-syntax (in particular case and aspect), in both theoretical and applied linguistics; (b) processability approaches to second language acquisition; (c) the development of pragmatic skills (speech acts and implicatures), (d) phenomena at the interface between syntax and pragmatics (topicalisations and pro-drop), (e) cognitive effects of bilingualism. I am a member of the Trento branch of Bilingualism Matters(https://r1.unitn.it/bilinguismoconta), providing special attention to bilingualism in minority language communities. I collaborate in the organisation and research for Tandem Language Learning at the University of Trento.
