Curriculum

Vincenzo Borghetti is associate professor of music history. His research centres on Renaissance music, especially issues of culture, ideology, intertextuality and historiography; the presence of Renaissance music in present-day media; opera and music theatre of early twentieth century; music philology, especially the operas by Gioachino Rossini. From 2019 he is member of the Academia Europaea.
