Dario Monaco è dottorando di ricerca in Scienze Archeologiche, Storico-artistiche e Storiche presso l’Università degli Studi di Verona. La sua ricerca si concentra sull'Archeologia Medievale e l'utilizzo di tecniche archeometriche per lo studio delle abitudini culinarie nel passato. Il suo progetto di ricerca, supervisionato dai Professori Fabio Saggioro e Daniela Cecconi, è dedicato all'indagine di residui organici conservati all'interno di contenitori in pietra ollare e ceramica, con lo scopo di approfondire le caratteristiche dell'alimentazione durante l'Alto Medioevo.

Dario Monaco is a PhD student in Archaeology, Art History and History at the University of Verona. His research focuses on Medieval Archaeology and the use of archaeometric techniques to study culinary habits in the past. His research project, supervised by Professors Fabio Saggioro and Daniela Cecconi, is dedicated to investigating organic residues preserved inside soapstone and ceramic vessels, aiming to investigate the characteristics of food during the Early and High Middle Ages.
