Panagiotis Leontaridis is a PhD fellow in Greek Language and Literature (L-FIL-LET/02) at the University of Verona, under the Horizon Europe MSCA funded project From antiquity to community: rethinking classical heritage through citizen humanities (AntCom). His research project The hidden Greek: Greek paratexts and obliterated works in the palimpsests of the Biblioteca Capitolare in Verona (2), supervised by Assoc Prof Paolo Scattolin, aims to re-evaluate the texts 'hidden' in the erased layers of two understudied palimpsest manuscripts preserved in the library and to engage citizenship in the scientific process of data collection. His research interests include Greek palaeography (medieval palimpsest manuscripts), digital humanities (digital curation and preservation, conceptual modelling and ontologies, the Semantic Web and Linked Data) and citizen humanities.
