Curriculum

Silvino Salgaro professore incaricato dal 1977, associato dal 1986 e ordinario dal 1994 nel settore scientifico disciplinare MGGR/01 Geografia, tiene gli insegnamenti di Geografia, Geografia del turismo, Geografia dei Paesi europei, Geografia politica ed economica, Geografia storica, Topografia e cartografia. 
I suoi principali interessi di ricerca riguardano: 
- La storia della cartografia nel XVI secolo nella Repubblica di Venezia 
- La storia della cartografia durante il periodo napoleonico 
- La didattica della geografia in generale e in ottica cartografica 
- La montagna italiana e le sue trasformazioni recenti 
- Il paesaggio nelle sue diverse declinazioni 
- La mobilità urbana 
- La geografia del rischio 
- Il turismo nelle città d’arte 
- La storia del turismo 
Responsabile del dottorato di ricerca in Beni culturali e territorio, fa parte del dottorato in Storia delle arti. 
Responsabile dei laboratori di cartografia, didattica delle geostoria, coordina i Laboratori integrati del Dipartimento Culture e Civiltà 
Membro scientifico dell’Osservatorio Regionale sul Paesaggio e dell’Osservatorio sul turismo a Verona city of Unesco, è stato direttore di Dipartimento e di corso di laurea nelle diverse sedi dove ha prestato servizio (Verona, Padova, Venezia, Bari, Trento).

The main interests are related to the history of the cartography of the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries, and to the teaching of the same.
