Federica Formiga is a Assistant Professor in the University of Verona.
After the classical studies she has graduated with praise in letters in the University of Padua and in maintenance of cultural goods in the University of Udine.
In 2006 she has achieved the Ph.D. in bibliografical  scienses and she has won a place of researcher in the discipline of archivistica, bibliography and  librarianship.
In  the year 2002/2003 she teached bibliography and librarianship in the Faculty of Letters of the University of Padua and now she teach bibliography and history of the printing in the University of Verona. .
She has published on numerous magazines wise concerning the typographic and publishing history
of Verona, the engravings in the books pressed in Milan in the XVIII century, and the history of the printing in the Maltese islands and in the Soverein Military Order of Malta.
She is now publishing a monograph on a family of typographers of Verona of the XVII century.
She has participated in projects of university search with local center to Verona (PRIN 2003, 2005, 2008).
In 2007 she has coordinated courses on the electronic filing. Since 2013 is chief a master of Publishing.

History of Books and Publishing The Research Group in History of Books and Publishing focuses on analyzing, understanding and describing publishing products issued in print and/or in electronic format, whether they are periodical or not, from a material and cultural point of view. The Research Group also studies the processes, industrial or artisanal, that have made and still make public these products, the role of the professionals involved and the social and economic impact of products and of the broader publishing sector as well, during modern and contemporary ages.
