Curriculum

My scientific activity and related publications were mainly focused on:

1) Latin literature from the early Middle Ages (in particular Draconzio's Carmina profana and the hagiographic production of Gregorio di Tours);

2) late-ancient and early medieval Latin (I analyzed the complex evolution of the written language and the oral communication in the III-VIII centuries);

3) the changes, especially the lexical ones, of the language in the private notary documents of Southern Italy in the IX-XII centuries (on the basis of the rich documentation available in the Codex Diplomaticus Cavensis and in the Codice diplomatico verginiano);
4) medieval lexicography (editing of the first and second series of Addenda to the Latinitatis Italicae Medii Aevi Lexicon);

5) planning and implementation of digital resources for research and teaching the middle latin language and literature (Cd-Rom Gregorio di Tours agiografo,  Santi e Santità dell'Occidente cristiano nel VI secolo).
